Victim Assistance Program
Since, 1972, Victim Assistance Program (VAP) has been dedicated to assure that no victim is alone. VAP is a non-profit organization providing 15,000-20,000 free and confidential services to victims of crime each year in Summit County. We are the only crime victim organization in Summit County that does not discriminate by crime type. In fact, we are the only program that is on scene at homicides, suicides, traffic fatalities and death notifications and continue our advocacy through the criminal justice process and beyond.
